Living With FGM: Improving Knowledge and Skills of Health Care Providers in Iraqi Kurdistan

The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness TOT workshops on knowledge and skills social workers working with girls women affected by FGM. To demonstrate findings, a quasi-experimental was conducted preand post-assessment. There were 44 participants who worked FGM victims across Iraqi Kurdistan. Socio-demographic details have collected psychosexual physical care, skills, referral programs assessed using continuum scale 0 4. Descriptive inferential statistics carried out for analysis. results showed that participants' improved in relation care living them. paired sample t-test significant increase among (t=11.01, df=43, P=.000), Psychosexual (t=-21.28, Programs (t=14.02, P=.000). Preparing integration psychosocial their existing activities would equip them providing holistic addressing emerging problems.
